The METARACER is a super lightweight shoe built to propel you forward during fast-paced training and racing. The curved shaped sole (GUIDESOLE) is built with a carbon-fiber plate which promotes a smooth transition and snappy toe-off. The rolling motion provided by the GUIDESOLE propels your body weight forward helping your running economy, while the stiffness of the carbon-plate gives you energy return as well as protection to landing forces.
When in the shoe your heel sits fairly deep inside the heel and is cupped with soft and seamless lining. The upper itself is very breathable and holds your foot in place nicely. There's a soft step-in feel on the heel and a firmer propulsive forefoot which gives you a rolling effect.
The shoe offers a good sense of familiarity for those that are use to a traditional racing flat, while still offering a curved carbon-fiber plate surrounded by spongy cushioning.
